As many of us know, a large proportion of dedicated travellers and gypsies flout many existing laws of our land to the detriment of the law abiding public.
1, Re-write the current laws on human rights and land law on where travellers can site their caravans & vehicles.
2, Give police powers to confiscate caravans and vehicles of travellers who do not dispose of rubbish correctly, or who are causing social and environment problems.
3, Dedicate some locally approved brown field sites in areas close to industrial estates that are away from housing areas, but provide them with basic toilet and washing facilities.
4, Bring in compulsory legislation to make travellers register for income and council tax (for those that don`t comply please see proposal 2 of this petition)
5, Create legislation to allow and make travellers register there bank details by allowing them to open bank accounts with approved government run accomodation addresses.
