Encourage government to investigate reducing NHS and DHSS costs by supporting low cost dietary supplementation as a way of reducing disease in the elderly. One example being the supply of free Lutein and Zeaxanthin dietary supplementation to those identified as having or being at risk of suffering Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) in their later years. AMD is the leading cause of blindness in the elderly.
