In Holland all letterboxes have a sticker that says yes or no. If someone posts junk mail/free papers/take away menus through your letterbox and you have a no clearly displayed you can prosecute the distributor of the leaflets. Surely this will dramatically reduce the amount of paper used in this country and reduce litter.
