It is outrageous that The Prime Minister's office emails all the signatories to petitions on this site while denying the same right to those that start petitions in the first place.
It is fundamental to democracy that discussion is never restricted, yet this denial of access leaves signatories receiving a one-sided view.
The present arrangement even prevents petitioners from thanking signatories, which is clearly against standards of common courtesy.
This is an official petition of the Safe Speed road safety campaign.
