Since crime has fallen so dramatically since local police forces were cut down (govt figures), one would assume that prisons are now virtually empty? We are told that it costs a huge amount of money to keep criminals in prison, so now there should be a huge pot of cash that is not required.
We petition the government to return this unspent cash to the British taxpayers.
