Sir Francis Bacon’s appeal to King James I., written in 1624, three years after Bacon’s impeachment as Chancellor for alleged bribes. A full pardon was prepared by King James I., but never signed.
A vindication of this injustice needs a fresh review by the United Nations, the British Government, and her Majesty the Queen.
Please support this petition and follow the example of the latest signer, Lord Northampton, Spencer Douglas David Compton, Pro Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE), and restore justice to Sir Francis Bacon’s 400 year-old neglected pardon.
