The year-on-year underfunding of North Wales Police Force by the Home Office has resulted in a big rise in the Police precept on the Council Tax of North Wales residents. At the same time we have seen cuts to local policing. We therefore call upon the Prime Minister to make sure that any central funds available for policing are distributed more evenly between North and South Wales.
