Englefield Green Cemetery has a small piece of land that without the knowledge of the local people had a change of covenant to enable it to be sold to a developer for housing. The proposed development will be located within feet of recent graves and its proposed new road will open onto a narrow lane unsuitable for the extra traffic that this will create. There is already a proposed development of up to 800 new homes in Englefield Green village, is this not enough?!
