More details from petition creator

It’s half time to halve poverty In the year 2000, you and other world leaders made a promise - to halve poverty by 2015 through the Millennium Development Goals. This summer it’s half time to halve poverty, and many of the goals are in danger of not being met. As part of Micah Challenge - a global movement of Christians committed to standing for justice – I urge you to play your part in ensuring the promise is kept.
