We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to persuade The Rent Service not to move Glossop in the High Peak of Derbyshire into the industrialised, urban district of Tameside, Oldahm Rochdale for local reference rents but to move Glossop, with Buxton, into the more rural Macclesfield district. More details from petition creator

The High Peak district for indicative rents has been abolished and split into four neighbouring districts and Glossop has been merged with Tameside, Oldham and Rochdale, where rental values are £50 to £70 a month lower than in the rural High Peak. So the recommended Housing Benefit for any property won't match actual local rents.
