We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Ensure that every Police Force in England and Wales treat a resident parent that blocks or refuses Court Ordered Contact for the non resident to see his/her children as ordered is dealt with under the "umbrella" of commiting Domestic Violence as The Association of Chief Police Officers have stated that it should be reported as a form of Domestic Violence. Police officers around england and wales should be made fully aware of the Police Stance against Domestic Violence commited by Resident parents when they block/deny court ordered contact for a non resident parent (usually dad) to see his children as agreed in court, Recently a senior Officer with ACPO stated that within the metropolitan police service this is handled just like any other report of domestic violence and should be reported and dealt with as such. If the Met can take this stance in answer to a Parent disobeying a court order we should expect any other Police Force or Police Officer ANYWHERE within England & Wales to do the same and I would like our Prime Minister to ensure that the various forces within those borders are kept up to speed to ensure the Courts own orders are obeyed by the resident parent to ensure the caring and upbringing for the child/children is upheld providing continuity for father and child also
