More details from petition creator
The United Kingdom has a long and proud tradition of British comics and story papers including The Dandy comic which is the world's longest running comic. Whilst there are transport museums informing the public about cars and buses and a museum dedicated to film and television, as far as I am aware there are no museums dedicated to the medium of comics and storypapers which are very much part of our cultural history and identity.
