Hello there, we believe there should be some permanent and visible way to commemorate the life of Brian Epstien, the man who discovered The Beatles and who died before he had chance to enjoy the fruits of his labour. Next year Liverpool is European City of Culture -Maggi Hambling has been approached to create a sculpture to be placed at the site of St Lukes at the top of Bold St close to the place of his birth. Though there is little of solid detail yet with some help there will be a monument to recognise his achivement, in Liverpool, in time for the aniversary of his death in August 2008. If there is any advice or help you can offer It would be much appreciated.
