The council's closure of Minehead only pool has left a population of well over 12,000 people without a swimming facility. The loss of this pool has affected people throughtout the community - old and young, able bodied and disabled alike. The council has decided it does not have the funds to open and run the pool due to years of financial mismanagement. We call on the Government to help restore our pool.
