More details from petition creator

Next year is the 250th anniversary of many key successes in the Seven Years War. Success in this war was crucial in securing global power for our nation for the next 150 years. If we remember our past heroes and study our history we will have a stronger sense of who we are. The key battles of 1759 included 1st May conquest of Guadeloupe 1st August victory at Minden 18th August victory at Lagos 13th September victory at Quebec 20th November victory at Quiberon Bay We were right to remember where we went wrong, e.g. the slave trade, but we should also remember our successes.
